Home Romans 1:16 Response Team

The confession affirms that the church is charged to call the Jews to repentance and to baptize the believers in the name of Christ for the forgiveness of sins. The refusal to evangelize the Jews "for cultural or political reasons" is disobedience. -- Dietrich Bonhoeffer (Bethel Confession, 1933)

Romans 1:16 Response Team Logo Welcome to the Romans 1:16 Response Team Page.

The Romans 1:16 Response Team is a three-pronged approach to encouraging and developing in the work of Jewish evangelism and missions ... and on the ground level

The first prong of the Romans 1:16 Response Team is that of being a Berean Learner.  A Berean Learner is exactly the type of person that Paul praised in Acts 17 ... a person and/or church who learns, absorbs and considers all the issues of Jewish evangelism.

The second Romans 1:16 Response Team prong is that of an Elijah's Witness.  This is a person and/or church who takes on the next level task of actively and passionately praying for the Jewish people and their need for Messiah Jesus.

The Romans 1:16 Response Team has a third prong ... Romans 10:1 Church. This designation is solely for churches who will commit to biannual evangelism training seminars and be willing to advertise in their community of their commitment to Jewish evangelism. This church will also commit to being proactive in their own community for opportunities to share the Gospel with the Jewish people who live beside them. This will not be a church who talks the game of Jewish missions but one who actually walks the hard road as well.
