Jewish Evangelism Declaration“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” – Romans 1:16 –
- Develop a friendship that is genuine, relational, and real. Always be honest about your desire to see them come to faith in Jesus as Messiah.
- Pray for them daily. Pray not only for their salvation but also for their other needs.
- Learn more about Jewish history. For example, send Passover cards as an opening to share the truth that Jesus is the Passover Lamb.
- Discuss the Old Testament prophecies about the Messiahship of Jesus. Be prepared for questions but do not back down from the truth of John 14:6 – “I [Jesus] am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
- Maintain a true friendship even if they reject Jesus. Seek God on when to step back and when to press forward.
- Prepare yourself for TOUGH questions regarding anti-Semitism and the Holocaust. They will come and they will be tough!
