Home Newsletters July 2004 Statement of Faith

The confession affirms that the church is charged to call the Jews to repentance and to baptize the believers in the name of Christ for the forgiveness of sins. The refusal to evangelize the Jews "for cultural or political reasons" is disobedience. -- Dietrich Bonhoeffer (Bethel Confession, 1933)

Statement of Faith

What's so important about a ministry's Statement of Faith? Everything! A faith statement reveals what a ministry believes to be crucial related to faith, salvation and God. There is not enough space to list the entire Statement of Faith but this article will try and highlight some of the key concepts:

Inerrancy of Scripture is a key component of Tzedakah Ministries along with a clear explanation of the Trinity. A focus on the Trinity is key not only because it is Scriptural but also because it is one of the key objections to Jesus in Judaism.

An understanding of the humanity and deity of Jesus as God the Son is a part of Tzedakah Ministries's faith statement. The reality that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone is also a part of the Tzedakah Ministries' Statement of Faith.
