| “For
the church to evangelize the world without thinking of the Jews[ish
people], is like a bird trying to fly with one broken wing.” – Franz
Delitzsch (19th Century German theologian)
Equipping Christians on how to share their faith with their
Jewish friends and family and helping to disciple new Jewish
believers in caring, sensitive churches and Messianic congregations
are the core values of Tzedakah Ministries. “To Equip His
Church to Reach His People” is not just a slogan or catchphrase
for Tzedakah Ministries, it is the reason why Tzedakah
Ministries exists.
The Jewish people are God’s Chosen People, but today the
sons and daughters of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are seeking righteousness
(tzedakah) through good deeds and proper living. However, Isaiah
64:6 teaches that our righteousness is as filthy rags before
God and Romans 3:10 reminds us that no one is righteous before
God.
Churches around the world are trying desperately to reach the
world for Jesus but many are forgetting to whom the Gospel was
originally intended, “to the Jew first, and also to the
Greek (Romans 1:16).” We struggle to reach out to those
who have never heard and forget
that there are almost 15 million Jewish people who desperately
need to know that Jesus is the Messiah of both the Jews and Gentiles.
Tzedakah Ministries believes that by reaching out to the Jewish
people with the Gospel, Christians will be more effective in
witnessing to all people groups. Tzedakah
Ministries is available
to speak in churches, women’s retreats, small group Bible
studies on how your church can be a part of fulfilling the forgotten
people of the Great Commission – the brothers and sisters
of Messiah Jesus.
