Abraham - Kosher

Front - So What does this Really Mean?

So He (Abraham) took butter and milk and set the calf which he had prepared and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree as they ate. (Genesis 18:8)

So how was Abraham Justified and Found Righteous? Is there more to a relationship with GOD than keeping Kosher?

According to Midrash Rabbah Genesis XI:7 Abraham was not a Sabbath Keeper -- Jesus healed a daughter of Abraham on the Sabbath (Luke 10:17)

According to Midrash Rabbah Genesis XIV:6 Abraham is to be considered greater than Adam -- Jesus stated that before Abraham was ..."I am" (John 8:58)

According to Torah (Genesis 15:6), Abraham's covenant faith in Adonai marked him as righteous -- the Brit Chadasha startes his faith is realized in Jesus (Rom 4:1-23; Hebrews 11:8-10, 39-40)
